Just Scott

Who is Just Scott? He is a musician, a song writer, an artist, and a music addict! 

 

August 15th 1976, in Levittown NY, Scott was born the 2nd child in a middle class family. In his early years, Scott was introduced to Music through his father. Learning from watching his father, he began to play the Guitar and sing. He would make up silly songs about weird things, such as "a cat dying, or a hot girl walking by". Becoming more advanced with his guitar playing gave him more ideas for new sounds. Soon After he started writing his feelings down, and putting them to little tunes. This was the start of something special. Inspirations came from past love, life's lessons, and the changing of the world. 

 

Scott was playing shows on Long Island in the 2000’s during the growing Pop Punk/emo/alt scene craze and it helped shape his current sound. Along the way he opened for bands such as The Starting Line, Epic Heroes, and Sprout.  He released his first EP on iTunes in 2008 and followed it up with a tristate tour consisting of playing some of the great NYC venues highlighted with the legendary CBGB’s.

After taking several years off to raise a family, 3 kids and a wife later, Scott has given up his guitar for a keyboard and began working on music in his home studio. The sound that he has now is authentic to what he has loved his entire life. Inspired by love, happiness, and the 80’s, Scott has taken all that he has learned over the years and combined them to come up with his current sound. He has currently amassed over 50k streams on Spotify with his 3 singles, Meet Again (Cassiopeia), Her Kind of Guy, and My Favorite.
